Yangjiang Futong Industries CO. , Ltd (FTI) , established in 1997, is a private enterprise, which inherited traditional craft of knife making in Yangjiang. One of its great characteristics is to integrate the traditional handicraft with modernized workshop to make all kinds of knives.
FTI is located in the beautiful seaside city-Yangjiang. From 2000 to 2005, it has been successively enjoying the reputation as one of the most beautiful national seaside cities for six sessions. It is well known to all of us for its traditional handicraft, especially the cutlery industry such as knife and scissor. In 2001, it was awarded as “the City of Knife and scissor in China” by the Association of Chinese Productivity Promotion Center and Daily-use Hardware Productivity Promotion Center of P. R. C. And it became “the Kitchen Knife Center in China” and “Chinese Scissor Center”. Currently, the whole city’s daily-use hardware such as knives and scissors manufactures in Yangjiang are over 1200, with their output taking up approximately 90% and the export 80% nationally. Of the global 6.3billion population, nearly 90% of the world people are using the knife made in Yangjiang, whose knife craft influenced and impelled the world’s knife culture. FTI developed in such a historical atmosphere and dedicated herself to knife manufacturing all the year round.
FTI originates from traditional handwork workshop. And it loses no time in exploiting and enterprising to keep pace with the times and to realize its modernization gradually.
We use the same class precision and purity molybdenum and barium stainless steel as that applied in scalpels as our knife making materials. The structure of knife refers to the principle of God’s image dynamics. The modern knife-make equipment, ancient traditional technology together with the digitalized heat treatment which make the knife toughness, endurable, cultrated and keenness! Every knife designed for specialized chef and cooking amateurs becomes a family heirloom.
There were only 10 administrative staffs, 70 artificers, with less than $1million yearly yield. After eight years’ development, now it has over 60 administrative staffs and 700 artificers, with a yearly yield more than $8million. Its sharp momentum can’t belittle.
